- I got paid for the research I am working on
- I was good at writing scientific papers
- I constantly thought scientifically about most things
- Results on the computer were always scientific results
- Journal articles were fun to read
- People in the close circles of my life understood statistics enough that I could share with them what I'm doing in my research and classes
